Christopher Robert Evans is a well-known American actor. His television career began with roles, including Opposite Sext in the year 2000. Following his appearance in a variety of teen movies, including Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he became known for portraying the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans appeared in several film adaptations of graphic novels and comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). The film gained him more recognition due to his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War and the ensemble films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). Within the Marvel universe, his character as Steve Rogers / Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
